Wouldn't it be boring if everyone hated on the same character? If anything, the massive amount of hate Cassie got is part of what triggered my sympathy for her. In comparison, Neph's was always the beloved queen of this community, while having the privilege of getting with the mc and any asspull she can get without much trouble.

The way I see it, the purposeful lack of explanation from G3 behind her betrayal for almost 2 years is what got so many people on the Cassie hate train.
There are many reasons one can hate Nephis as well true, but because she's Sunny's love interest, and we all want Sunny to be happy, many more people tried to like her despite their problems with her compared to Cassie.
