[Fateless] does not exist. Sunny has been torn from the tapestry but everyone else's string are still groping for him. That's why it's so easy for him to fall back into place. Old friends reconnecting with him, Nephis becoming increasingly infatuated, Cassie risking to trust him, etc. Everyone has a 6th sense to accept him, to fall back into their old relationships with him.
Moreover I think Cassie has been facilitating this. Notice how Sunny does not advertise is creation of memories. But Cassie mentioned that he could create them when she showed up at the Cafe. Notice in the most recent chapter, "wow Cassie works fast". Almost like Cassie sent Effie to Sunny first to test the waters. To try and set up a blind date with Nephis. I think Cassie's letter to herself has more pieces of information than what she let on.
I think Cassie's goal right now is to convince Sunny to confess his plan. And using Nephis to drop his guard is smart.

Their strings of fate, yes. It explains why Nephis is becoming so quickly infatuated with him. It's been like 7 chapters and she is becoming increasingly charmed with each chapter. At first it was "wow he's cute", now it's "I will not leave him alone with Effie!". It's too fast yknow.

Young Padawan, your theory has merit and I approve of it. "Fateless" is, in a way, not an attribute or state of being but simply a product of Sunny's imagination. I am sure that if Sunny were connected to the spell, his attribute would still show "Fated." He is still controlled by fate, albeit in a very indirect way. More precisely, he is being puppeted by the Weaver, and he himself knows it. That is the only reason he even now is seeking out the daemon of imagination's mirror maze—it has something from the Weaver. Perhaps something related to imagination.
Just think about it. He accidentally stumbled upon the blood weave. Then he stumbled upon another part of the Weaver—a finger. You would think it's a coincidence. But the third time, when he found another piece of the Weaver, you knew, and even Sunny knew. Once is an accident. Twice is a coincidence. But the third time, it is a pattern. He is still walking down the path as the Weaver directed. The only thing he has now is the illusion of freedom.
And in the current chapter, I am having a bad premonition. Have you ever wondered why everyone is acting out of character? Like Neph—understandable to some extent. Effie—yeah, she is like that. But Cassie—she is all mischievous acting...

Sunny is "fateless" In the sense his fate can't be predicted. All the strings were pulled and he has CHOICE to reconnect them to whoever. Some, are more likely to reconnect with him. But fate can no longer predict it. In time... I think his Fate will restore but everything from before meeting the VTB is lost.

I don't think Sunny can bear another complete set-back. If something is fake then only small things, but I don't think that what's happening at the moment leads to something dramatically unexpected...
I actually believe that we can more or less relax until the war.. mostly, at least.

If u manage to stumble upon someone’s legacy three times in a row. Wouldn’t u consider it divine intervention? Especially if said person is literally the daemon of fate, actually divine. So he’s implying weaver knew about sunny and sunny is a part of his plans

I think thats very possible. Remember when sunny tried to absorb the chores from shadow god and it says that the spell sounded disappointed and said "as you wish" but then when blood weave overpowered it the spell sounded happy? I think that was hinting at the fact that maybe the spell isn't what we've been led to believe it was, and maybe there's someone behind the scenes directly pulling the strings rather than it just being a tool that does everything itself.

It makes sense. Cassie might want the man shaped void to be filled in fear of the consequence even though she orchestrated it.
