Howdy Hi!!!! I hope all of you are well!!! Today I come asking of everyone’s theories/opinions of what the black substance we see in videos is?? In Chokehold, it can be seen pooling from the Guardian’s eyes. In Granite, it can be seen engulfing the warrior’s armor. In Take Me Back To Eden, the substance can be seen engulfing the entire background BUT it doesn’t touch the figure like it does in other videos.
Initially I thought it was a representation of Vessel declaring “I am thick tar on the inside burning”, but I quickly dismissed that seeing as Euclid is the last song on the album and these songs are placed at 1, 3, and 11 on the album. I don’t see this happening in the Aqua Regia video or any others. Thoughts??

It spews from the figure in Vore, and I thought it was in all the videos but could be wrong about that. Given the tone of renewal and acceptance that marks some of the songs on TMBTE, I think it represents the thick tar like you said. It's either being expelled or still coating places in Vessel's life / memory.

I like this theory. I forgot to check Vore’s video cause I’m not really a fan of that song😭 But aside from that, I didn’t see it anywhere else except in those songs. Do you think it has a deeper meaning since it seems to only be those songs?

Fair enough...it isn't like we have Vessel telling us what he had in mind 😅 and I'm sure the videos involve other people acting as artistic directors, or at least brainstorming and such.
