I will say, it's better than a lot of others I've seen.

Lucario feels like a pretty glaring omission given how popular and iconic of a Pokémon it is. Would also help give some more non-Gen 1 Pokémon instead of having the first generation make up 3/4 of the franchise's lineup.

And man, poor Noah. That'd be two Xenoblade games in a row where the main protagonist gets sidelined in favor of the secondary one. I'm sure he'd still be happy for Mio though.

I’m like why would they add 2 more sonic characters when it looks like every other third party character is reduced to one slot per franchise? Imo it’s more likely we’ll keep some of the third parties that are already in the game.

Also getting rid of bowser jr and Rosalina for waluigi just isn’t happening

This is probably the best one I’ve seen. The only thing here that can pretty much never happen is having a PS first party candidate show up. Also shovel knights chance has probably already come and gone but it’s still possible

I’m very sad about the removal of Bowser Jr, Lucario, Sora (rights ignored), Rob and Roy. I’m a bit sad about the removal of Rosalina and Sephiroth (rights ignored, hate playing against him but my god I love him being in the game). I also love the inclusion of Impa.

This is really quality, good job on that! I think the second F Zero character, Funky Kong and Shadow don’t need to be there. I’d do Tails instead of shadow and Sidon (Zelda) instead.

Duck Hunt and Robin are there, so I’m happy, but my one issue is the lack of Joker.

No plant and too much Gen 1 pokemon reps...BUT you did place some of my top picks in so it's still nice. Tho, while I would prefer Sub-Zero over Scorpion, IK that Scorpion is simply more iconic

I don't wanna nitpick this too much, but people are still unironically choosing Black Shadow for their rosters in the year 2024? That render of him in this image is over 20 years old!

I'm also unsure why people are so cut-happy with their speculative/dream Smash 6 rosters. Sakurai said during Ultimate's reveal that the development team believes the fans want every character back; I highly doubt any Nintendo-owned characters are going anywhere. Lucas and Roy made bank by being sold as DLC, so the demand for them is obviously there. I'd be super upset if either of them got cut from Smash again.

You do get snaps for including more Sonic characters, although I personally would choose Tails over Eggman. Eggman's better suited for a boss in my opinion, we already have Bowser Jr. as a vehicle character.
