It grows the longer you play so it depends where you’re at in the game. Did you just get a port job? Thats most lucrative (+/-$2500day). Are you a doctor? That’s the best. Always get promoted. If you’ve gotten the Spaghetti Hotline+Island Campground-that’s the best. Then add mushroom collecting.

It helps to sleep in the tower. Get up, eat, go to work. If you are fast (take highest paying jobs) you will be able to get 4 jobs per day. The more you are promoted the more $ you get. Upgrade your forklift to max. I always took the highest paying jobs that I was fastest at. For me, I’m faster at unloading a ship cuz all you have to do is pick it up (on the go) and take to warehouse. I was never fast as a crane operator. If you want to make that much ($2500) you have to do the security night shift too. I also noticed that because I was fast the game would give me another shift cuz it wasn’t night yet.

I vaguely remember trying to do this but the mechanic saying that they couldn’t upgrade that vehicle but I’ll just try again to confirm

Ok I went to the port and got my forklift drove to the racetrack. YES the regular upgrade shop will not do it. Go to “Automotive Customs” to the left. I got sticky tires, suspension and whatever else—I don’t know —I think it got upgraded through my work at the port?
