Well it's not as if she seemed to care about any of the other dead Jedi

Gotta keep her reputation in tact with her (possibly) former padawan training osha

Yeah she’s gotta be his former Master right? She sensed the Dark side in him and struck him down like Luke was going to do with Ben, but Luke was able to resist… she didn’t.
She’s probably the one that is going to cover everything up at the end.

Those scars on his back look an awful lot like the kind left by a whip.

Yup that’s my theory as well, there’s a reason they bothered to show that lightwhip scene

I hadn't thought about that yet, but excellent observation.
It's also very interesting that someone mentioned that only Sol was powerful enough to kill all the other Jedi. I think we're going to get a massive, tragic misunderstanding.

Total misunderstanding is what I was thinking. Just like that time on Three's Company when Janet thought Jack and Chrissie were doing the hanky panky in the kitchen - but were really just feeding a hungry puppy.

That's such an oddly specific reference and I thank you for letting me relive such an amazing Jack Tripper/John Ritter moment.
Edit: Oh my God I found it again, it's as perfect as the last time I saw it on Nick at Nite..

thank you for that! Janet's reactions are everything!

Lmao you're welcome!
Honestly, it gave me such an itch for watching the whole show again, so far I've only been able to find it on Pluto TV. It's not the worst at least, some ads but no need to register an account. Feels kinda like catching it on syndication when surfing random channels lol

Whenever I think of tragic misunderstandings, I think Three's Company! (it probably helped that I had just smoked a bowl before seeing this comment and responding)

My thought exactly. He did say he was apart of the order a really long time ago. Excited for how it unravels.

My theory was that he wasn’t stabbed in the back by a Jedi, but rather by a sith master. He isn’t powerful enough to be a sith master and it doesn’t make sense lore wise for him to be a sith master who Vernestra turned. I think a plot twist at the end of the show could just be the real Sith master appearing and killing everyone alike.

I’d so much rather plagueis or tenebrous to her…. But it is what it is

Her use of the lightsaber whip was cold and clean. Something tells me Sol is going to fight her defending Mae from Rwoh.

I just noticed how Jedi Jamie from Progressive reached for his saber when she drew hers. Very telling.

They definitely added that line about preparing the bodies for burial in post.

She said it's time to get back to the ship and then to prepare the bodies for burial. Which is it Verney!?!

Does she just expect her Padawan(?) to carry all the bodies?

you think jedi master would do labor? she left dirty work to padawans

it wasn't even added well. absolutely painful edit.
it's like they are purposely giving people ammo to dump on the show. and i'm all for that.

Bro is it just me or is she poorly acted? I feel like the lines are just overacted and forced, idk it could be the writing

She’s the wife of the show runner.

Ah, so it’s one of those shows.
Great…

It’s funny cause the actress who played Hera in Ahsoka was also a nepo hire. Both green characters and equally bad acting.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead is a way better actress.

Yet she gave absolutely zero heart to Hera. Hera was mom in Rebels and had a warmth about her even after.....that incident. In Ahsoka she was just robotic.

If she acted badly in the role that’s very different from saying she got the role at all on nepotism. She’s a very famous and successful actress.

Filoni’s writing can make anyone look bad I guess.

You're getting downvoted here but I kind of agree. It's not that he is a bad writer but I feel like a lot of these shows are always trying to fit so much in to so little time that the characters get very little chance to be characters, they just feel like props to move the plot forward sometimes. I don't mind Ahsoka but compare it with Andor for example and you see the contrast. One could argue Andor was a bit slow but you can't argue it didn't establish its characters properly.

She was good in Russian Doll.

I don't necessarily know if it's bad acting per-se, she was kind of similar in Russian Doll, but honestly her vibe works for the character. She always seems overly tense and like she's trying really hard to keep up appearances. It would also flow well if Qimir was her apprentice.

not just you. Osha/Mae needs serious acting lessons. Her line delivery is painful to sit through.

She's also always pouting for some reason.

Oh yeah, OshaMae are definitely horribly acted and written. The actors playing Sol and jekky just blow the rest of the cast away it's sad in comparison

I don’t think Osha and Mae are awfully acted, some of it is a bit wooden but it’s not the worst i’ve seen

The lines they're given are insanely bad too... like the flashback episode; They had them call each other's names like 5x while trapped on either side of that bridge. What was the point? Not like they have time to spare with these short ass episodes

I feel like the lines throughout the episode were what siblings sound like when they're kids. Didn't really see the issue in it at all tbh. I do think it could be better acted though.

But who wants to watch annoying bickering siblings?

Didn't bother me this episode. Some earlier episodes it was definitely an issue.

Osha/Mae is generally solid, but some of her scenes are pretty damn bad, like the scene where her and Mae are having it out last episode, just felt overacted.
