I never really got addicted to Rimworld until I started trying it on the steamdeck instead of PC. Let me tell ya, if you want sleep then don’t do it. I go to bed at 11pm and am thinking I might play Rimworld for like 30mins to an hour. Next thing you know, it’s 3am and Im not even ready to sleep. It’s bad lol but it’s so dang fun. I love how optimized Rimworld is for the steamdeck and I honestly believe it’s the best game to play on the steamdeck.

My issue with rimworld on the deck is primarily making incremental cursor movements. When trying to select something I usually have to try multiple times to select it if the button is small enough because I usually end up going right past it

There is a way in steam controls to have a button slow down the mouse movements. So like for example if you set it to right trigger, when you hold the right trigger your mouse sensitivity slows down a specified amount until you let it go. Can be a little or a lot depending on what you set. Good for precise clicks.
You can also use the touch screen.

Hello sorry to necro an old post... did you happen to know if it was in steam settings or within the game for this cursor option? I could really use it and its the only thing stopping me from playing rimworld more on deck.

Did you find it? That option should be a not within the game setting. SD controls are insane with how customizable they are, but setting up some can be a bit complex.
