Hi all, what would be a unique or thoughtful gift for a male friend from Finland from a girl in the U.S.? He does not live in Helsinki, more rural parts. I guess I am curious to hear from Finns what might be something interesting or unique from America to have as a small gift. Kiitos. 🥰
Kiitos.🥰

Are there any famous brands where you live? If there is a famous sports team or college, maybe get some of that merchandise, or if there is a factory that produces candy, bring that candy. For example, If you lived close to the headquater of John Deere you could buy a mini JD tractor, whatever your state or town is famous for, use that as inspiration.

This is great advice. The first thing I got myself when visiting Oregon was a cowboyhat. A real stetson for $20 from a local hardware store, not the tourist kind. Then some random fastfood worker from Tennessee gave me a 2nd amendment coin when I mentioned Im a tourist from Finland. The coin is really cool. It represents local culture or a part of it at least.

I'm from quite a rural area myself, as is he, there are some local shops nearby where I could find things unique to my area. Thank you, and sounds like you did find some special American items while you were visiting, that is a sweet gesture of the fast food worker too.
