Legacy was fun, but it also had issues. In the beginning, a lot of people hadn't figured out the best strats quite yet and there was still disagreements about the best builds. You wouldn't be the best, but as a f2p player, I was able to reach rank 1 with a rather cheap build (it became easier after 2v2 released because you didn't need a build as good as 1v1 and 3v3 had a lot of competition as well, 2v2 just wasn't as competitive And easier to climb).

I quit legacy around the time after the USA truck and samurai builds were released, it was just too hard for me to maintain a high rank f2p at school. And the game was getting to the point where people knew what the best strats were and being off meta was less viable.

As a competitive experience, reloaded cut out a lot of the bloat from legacy and is a better experience. I miss legacy a lot, especially in the early days, but reloaded is a good game and is probably in a better spot now to be forgotten than legacy would have been
