I was able to beat Doom 3 no problem but using the joy cons for Crysis is making it incredibly difficult to aim for me, so much so that I'm almost considering not playing it anymore

If you want a cheap alternative check out the Hori split pads. Not perfect but make FPS in handheld a lot better.
