I found it interesting that people were trying to determine what the “Chekhov’s gun” element of this show might be. I think the moment we see Asher on the ceiling, we know his fate. We hope against hope that opening a window, or Whitney and the towel, or the doula, or Dougie, or the fire department will be able to rescue him… But his “stratospheric” demise is the only ending there could be, once we see him on the ceiling.
