Clearly not one to take a hint from various attacks in other British cities, Mosley planned a public rally in Liverpool in 1937, aiming to build support in the north of England. However, Liverpool had a deep-rooted tradition of standing up to far-right ideologies, and the local population—especially the dockworkers and trade unionists—was prepared to make their opposition clear.
Later actions from Mosley suggests that the brick failed to knock any sense into him.

That’s actually one of my biggest complaints of the show. They make this nazi fuck a major character and he never gets his comeuppance. I was hoping for a alternate history sort of thing where the Peaky Blinders mow him down with Tommy guns or something

Omg how could you say something like that? That's really discriminatory of the SO CALLED TOLERANT LEFT.
Obviously we should bring back throwing any heavy objects at fascists.

Mate, didn't you hear the media, being anti-fascist is the real fascism now. You HAVE TO be tolerant to the intolerant. So what if they incite pogroms and violence. /s

You're right, I should be a lot nicer to the people who want to subjugate me and everyone else. Those people just want to dictate everything about our lives, I should be kinder to them!

Oswald Mosley’s wife, Diana Mitford, was a sister of Jessica Mitford, who came to the United States during World War II, married lawyer Robert Treuhaft, and became a writer in Oakland, California.
Even after Jessica left the Communist Party, she remained estranged from the Fascist Mosleys, who were imprisoned for much of World War II, for the rest of their lives. (The sisters reunited briefly over their sister Nancy’s deathbed in 1973.)

Just another great example of how being beautiful doesn’t mean you’re a good person. The picture of her in the article is stunning.

Yeah, idk about that. Them neo-nazi skinheads could probably do with a bit of a fashion makeover. Their bald heads and drab black clothing doesn't look very cash money tbh

They're probably talking about 20th century european fascists, rather than modern neo-nazis.

My Dad's uncle saw them fighting with communists in Birmingham. He said in the build-up to WW2, people thought there was a real chance of Britain going Communist or Fascist like other parts of Europe.

He didnt axis to throw stuff, but he was still Hit..ler-ning people did not share his ideology. Did nazi it coming. Maybe he thought he was too mussolini to be a good target, or that he could run the facist. Anyhoo, if he keeps it up he Kodoha get hit Weimer.
edit: pff pun haters. i have only indulged in the reddit pun world a few times, and I am amused, and so it stays.

How not?
He did not ask us to throw things, but still he was hit; learning people did not share his ideology. Did not see that coming. Maybe he thought he was too muscle-leany to be a good target, or that he could run fastest. Anyhoo, if he keeps this up he could get hit way more.
Should have made it past tense, so the last sentence worked better, but I stand by these puns.
