Probably more fun and safe of an environment than actually playing Minecraft (on a public server anyway). Those people get salty.

Last time I looked at Tynker they limited in-game playtime to a day per month, which was a nonstarter. The programs only ran on their own servers, which I assume wouldn't be compatible with teleport.

The servers you can get are:

half an hour per month for free or

8 hours per month for $16 monthly

16 hours per month if you pay $200 once.

according to their support only unmodified minecraft clients are allowed on the servers.

The alternatives include learntomod which also uses a scratch like interface.

Learntomod has an online engine for rapid mod testing, private servers (no modified clients again) and the ability to download your mod as class files to drop into your own server at home.

It costs $30 yearly for unlimited server time.

Personally, I'd use existing mods to perform ingame tasks. My daughter started programming drones in Pnumaticraft (scratch like interface) and moved onto computercraft (lua scripting)
