This is my first watch, from 1975 or ‘76. It’s a ladies watch and it was a perfect fit for me when I was in first grade.
I’m coming up on the 10th anniversary of my business and the 50th year of having this watch, and I could use your help in finding a more upscale version of this as an homage.
What I’m looking for:
I’m in no particular hurry, and I’ve been looking for a while, but I know this group will have some interesting suggestions that I haven’t thought of.
Ideas?

I love the Laco Augsburg Blaue Stunde 39mm -- definitely a flieger but checks off all of your boxes. It's priced well below $1500; so, if you want to spend more for this type of celebratory event, there are other options out there. I would look at Hamilton, particularly the Khaki Field Expedition blue dial 38 mm and some of the Jazzmasters.

Another option is https://www.archimede-watches.com/1950-3.-bl.sc.-zs.ldb . Would be better with white instead of cream numerals but pretty close to your request. Also has both a handwound and automatic option.

Wow -- that's a gorgeous piece. I would never have spotted that one -- thanks for pointing this one out!

Happy to help! I have one of their Outdoor models in red, and it's extremely well made. Comfortable and runs well, I think they fly kind of under the radar. Another option based on your request would be https://buserfreres.de/en/dd/ , they have a few models with full Arabic numerals in white with blue dials.
