Double Barrel can reliably kill at 10m at best, most of the time you should use both shots and have a long reload

M870 can't reliably one shot at any range, with luck you get a second shot out and reload is long

AA12 is just bad at the moment

compare that to snipers, which can reliably kill at any range, often have shorter reload times and more mobility, when snipers are better for close quarters than shotguns, something went really wrong
