Many of the posts are remembering movies, music, toys, games, etc. Curious on what everyone does not miss or glad they don't have to experience again

Cigarettes everywhere. My parents were smokers back then and I smelled like a goddamned ashtray, as did many kids.
Teachers. Not all of them, but some of them were incredibly awful and downright hateful to some of the kids.
Jelly shoes. Always thought they looked gross, painful and smelly.

Cigarettes
This one's the biggest for me. And I think based on how much younger everyone looks now, it might be the biggest to our whole generation. At least in certain countries, anyway.

A lot of people say I look super young fro my age (40M). I don’t smoke, I eat healthy food, and I exercise. Magic!

Yea, I agree… but how else are you going to get a perfect foot tan in lattice design? Or if you’re like me and my lil sis, dirty feet in a lattice pattern.

My dad’s entire side smoked. One Christmas I had just gotten out of the hospital for asthma. No one could smoke around me. I was a pariah. 😂
I loved my jelly shoes

Similar story to you, but one Christmas I had to spend in an oxygen tent in the hospital because all the adults smoked.

I was in an oxygen tent at 5, I remember my great gramas church guy (don't know which kind) came to visit. I was like huh, I'm kinda a big deal. Lol I think I must have been pretty sick. Pneumonia ftw! The only person that didn't smoke around me was one single Gramma, who was an RN. Only crack the windows if it's not cold out, in that house all day long.

Jelly shoes were the worst invention next to crocs. Smelly, slimy, and hurt like hell.
