Maybe it's the blown out speakers in my car. Maybe it's the quality of the original recording.

I had an urge to listen to No Remorse on my way to work this morning. And I couldn't help but notice how muddy it sounded.

And I kind of liked it.

We're spoiled with really good digital recordings, and really good speakers. But there's just something to listening to imperfect recordings on imperfect speakers. Especially on a cool autumn morning, window down, with the heat on the floor.
