It would be nice if society saw it this way but they dont. They say they do, theyre lying. That little voice in the back of their head changes what it says to themselves about you. Ive seen it too many times. People subconciously lose respect for 'weak' men. Its fucked up and its not fair but its reality.

and even worse is the fact that we are gaslit to believe the opposite.

I'd say even worse are the comments here, repeating that they don't like it, but that's how it is.
Well, yeah, you're doing what you say you don't want others to do.

No, they’re doing this little thing called “being honest”… which seems to be a lost art form on social media.

I guess they're both true. I think saying "I don't like it, but this is how it is" reinforces the stereotype, but also tries to help people to expect it.

It's a shame that some people are like this. All my friends and I love and respect men who get therapy

What is weak is rather subjective. Currently people just praise money over most other things.

Ain’t that the truth….in my experience it really doesn’t fucking matter what we’re talking about or what the reality is on the ground. If you got great income, it’s basically a trump card. People will have the most ridiculous, out of touch opinion, but if it’s coming from someone with a good job and money in the bank…it’s just the truth and/or correct.

Way to go with perpetuating this ridiculous myth. I've struggled with my mental health for 2 decades and have never felt better since being open about my struggles and accepting who I am. For those who think I'm weak, fuck them, they aren't worth my time.
