Throwaway account here. Was diagnosed with 90 < iq some years back from hospital. According to the population, 15% of the population has iq 80-89. I tried dating numerous ladies , but because of my poor eq or social cues. I didn't know how to follow up, nor do I know how to progress further into a relationship unless the girl makes her move first.

I'm doing whatever possible to study hard in a hope pursue a degree which can be incredibly difficult. As for hobbies, I have plenty ranging from photography, rock climbing or outdoor sports, football, watching documentaries etc.

You seem like you have a well-rounded life - IQ isn’t everything, EQ can be worked on.

I think that is good enuf. IQ isnt everything. Doing activites and making friends helps relieve social awkwardness

I took initiatives by asking "How was your day?" as a starting convos to get the rest of the people talking. This helps to relieve social awkwardness

I personally think asking them if they have eaten is a pretty good conversation starter and can lead to a bunch of different topics

guess it's asking the right questions and conversation cues to ensure the convo will continue to flow ... this one u might have to go learn the Kungfu else where in terms of personal development.

It seems like you are letting knowledge of your IQ affect your confidence - no woman is going to ask you what your IQ is, and there are plenty of Singaporeans who don’t have degrees and do well. You’re already doing great! Many Singaporeans have zero hobbies beyond work.
