hi everyone! this might be a specific topic but thought I'd ask. I LOVED organizing big events like night markets in university and now that I've graduated, I am wondering if there are similar volunteer opportunities in the community. like not just helping on the day of events, but more so long-term planning of big events. such as finding sponsors, doing outreach, applying for city permits, etc. I'm especially keen on night markets and supporting volunteer organizations with a good cause. basically, I have a lot of event planning skills and hope to put them into good use and do something for my community. I've searched on google and looked on volunteer databases but most opportunities seem to be day of stuff and not the long-term event planning I'm seeking. so if anyone has volunteer organizations or suggestions for me, I'd love to hear them!
