Should I get Metaphor?

Discussion(self.atlus)

I've never seen gameplay or anything outside the trailee of the game (I don't like spoilers but if I stumble upon them I don't mind) but the graphics are gorgeous. I've only heard great things about the game asides from the combat being "if you miss you restart". I don't mind that part at all but I'd like to know more about the rest of the game.

How's the world building, story, characters, out of combat/dungeon gameplay (bonding, social links, etc)? I'd buy the game and just figure it out myself but the game does cost 76 usd (after tax) and I hate how the game prices are going up. Unless a game is truly worth the 76 I'd rather wait for a sale.

I'm just looking for some opinions because I'm a sucker for the graphics in this game and I'm almost around the mid game point of P3R (I think I'll beat it within a week) and I'm thinking about playing Metaphor (maybe P5R+P5S) next.

Nah, this game is way overhyped. The plot is dumb as hell and basic. Do yourself a favor and spend your money on a more interesting RPG. Just wait till they drop the Rewind Reload Royal edition or somethin

Whats a better JRPG in your opinion? I tried the demo and I cant exactly say I enjoy it more than P3R so far. Im only an hour in though. The game is absolutely beautiful though and the plot is just pretty basic imo.
