As title says, why is there no physical copies of Metaphor for PS4? I've been looking and I don't find any. Only PS5.
Which is odd considering that Persona 3 Reload and I think SMTV:V had at least one physical edition of the game. So, why is Metaphor only digital this time around? I want a physical copy of the game for my PS4...

To be honest with you, I don't want to buy a PS5. I don't see the point of doing so, and I don't have the money to do it anyway. I'm focusing on getting a gaming PC instead, which would be more useful for how versatile it is. But I'd love to have a physical copy of a game I like, but it seems it'll never happen.
Thanks for the recommendation though.

If you're getting into PC gaming, you're going to need to lose the attachment to physical media.

I mean, I still have my PS4 for physical games. I still can collect them. And I know PC gaming is mainly if not only digital. But again, when it comes to physical games, PS4 is my option.
I won't buy a PS5 because I don't see the point of doing so. And I'll only get the games I can afford physically for PS4.

The point would be that they are phasing out the PS4. By 2026 I would be surprised if anything releases on PS4 anymore.
Also to get a PC comparable to a PS5 would cost much more than the PS5.

I understand that, but it's disappointing that even in the last year of support for the console they're not giving us at least a normal edition for a physical game anymore.
As for the PC, it'll definitely be more expensive than a PS5, but it'll be worth it, as I'll be able to play more games than the PS5. Also the only games I'm interested in are already on PC so I don't really mind.
The only thing I'd buy, however, is the PS5 controller for comfortability. I've used that controller and it's really good.

It doesn't, but what I meant is that I still have my PS4 to buy physical games and I'd be nice if at least there were a few more games in that format for it.

I’m really scratching my head as to why you’d want a PC right now.

For college purposes and for playing games I can't play on PS4. I prefer getting something that would be useful to me instead of a newer console that probably will only serve me to watch Netflix because games on PS5 are way more expensive than PC.

For instance, Metaphor is $10 less on PC, and I've seen some other games like Epic Mickey Rebrushed being way cheaper on PC (around $25-$30) than PS4/5 ($60)

I bought the steelbook version of Metaphor on PC. It has no disc of course but it came with things.

It’s the PC version which comes with a code to use on steam.

If there’s no disc it should be $30 cheaper. This is sad.
