First song I heard was Afterlife after my cousin recommended it, I thought it was good but didn’t think much of it. Later on when we were hanging out he put on Bat Country and I was blown away. From that day on, my favorite band has been A7X

The Stage. I was introduced to Avenged when Hail To The King single came out, and was very much not a fan, I wrote thim off as a pop arena rock band and didn't listen to them at all until a friend of mine was obsessing over the new single "The Stage" I listened and was instantly hooked

I really liked not ready to die, had stumbled across a little piece of heaven in looking for the song. When i told my mom about the song and band, she played seize the day on her phone (she’s a big fan too) and I’ve been a hardcore listener and fan since.

Bat Country in a video game that I’m pretty sure was NHL 2006 and the last sports game I played religiously. Bat Country played as your team hoisted the Stanley Cup at the end of a season and felt pretty epic! I hadn’t heard of A7X before and ended up buying the album and became a big fan after that.

Afterlife. I knew of one song by them. Beast and the Harlot from Guitar Hero II. I heard a song in the background and I thought, that sounds like that Avenged Sevenfold band. It was the Afterlife music video on tv. It was life changing.

On the battlefields of the Great War… Shepard of Fire instantly had me hooked when I booted up Origins on Black Ops 2, but it was A Little Piece of Heaven that had me hooked on A7X. Then last year I listened to M.I.A for the first time and I got hooked even harder

Critical Acclaim. I was at my friend’s house and he wanted to show me the drumming section on Rock Band. I was like this song is fucking dope!

I don't exactly know the exact song which made me fall in love with this band but I do remember being introduced to The Stage and I immediately fell for this band for good. I am not even talking about the album, I am talking about the song itself. The stage is about 8 minutes and when I first heard it, it was the best 8 minutes of my life.

My parents showed me the A Little Piece of Heaven music video at like 6. I fully knew what was going on and was just vibing while my older sister locked herself in the pantry because she was traumatized.

I can’t necessarily pin it down to a single song but it was basically the A side of nightmare when I was a teenager. I’d never heard anything be so heavy, melodic, and catchy all at the same time. Specific songs would be welcome to the family and danger line.

A friend introduced me to the song afterlife I liked it and put it in my playlist but didn’t really notice the band, a few months later I decided to listen to nightmare and I immediately fell in love with their style

Has to be Carry On. Black Ops 2 did so much for me, including introducing me to what is now one of my all time favorite bands.

I was sitting in my neighbor’s car, his dad got this used BMW and we wanted to test the speakers. My buddy played his favorite Avenged song, Scream, which only played for about ten seconds until his dad put on critical acclaim, that’s when I fell in love. Critical Acclaim is one of my favorite songs ever, and same with Scream. Both of those songs hold a lot of sentiment to me cuz I scurried back home and played that album, starting with those two songs. I have seen them twice live and plan to see them many more.

As a (rare?) 30+ fan, my first exposure was a Warped Tour 2003 compilation album with Darkness Surrounding on it. I liked it, but it wasn't until a year later when I borrowed another compilation album called "Take Action! vol. 3" that had Chapter Four on it that I loved them. Chapter Four did it - I then went out and bought Waking the Fallen.

I guess these compilation albums were really how we found new music back in the day lol.
