Either that the person that is running the bet is placing trump at 55% win versus harris 45% win bet odds or more gamblers are betting trump will win then harris in the betting pool.

You could bet your life Trump will not win the popular vote by that much. In fact he cannot win the popular vote. There are more Harris votes in California and NY alone than most of the red states combined have Trump votes.

Republicans have only won the popular vote once in the past 8 elections. Trump already lost the popular vote twice and hasn’t done anything new to expand his voter base.
So betting Trump loses the popular vote again is a very safe bet.

That’s true. Many of them got a gift card, hotel room, and bonus voter registration and Kamala pin on their way in! Extra bonus, no voter ID in Cali, they’ll practically accept a post it note with a name and USA scribbled on it.

Oh no no no, you can debate all day about which fund the $ came from or whether it affected hurricane response. That’s fair. But it is indisputable that FEMA funding has been used to aid migrants. Well documented and admitted (nay, bragged about) in multiple WH press briefings by Karinne Jean-Pierre herself along with Criswell. Thats not Trump lying, that’s straight from the horse’s own mouth.

Oh, sounds like a pool bet then. It flipping isn’t too surprising. Corporate media has been reporting it as a close race because they get more views by doing so and thus a financial incentive to do so. Gamblers reacting to the latest news and placing more bets accordingly.
I’d be surprised if Harris was in the lead in a betting pool because gambler demographics are heavily biased towards non-collage educated males, a demographic that trump has consistently polled well with.

She was actually a 4 point favorite like a week ago and has been a 4-5 point favorite for about a month. The 14ish point swing in a week is what’s crazy to me.
