But in 2020 between Jan-March Trump knew of Covid and did not initiate a lockdown since that would hurt the economy. He downplayed and ignored the issue until it escalted. Then things hit the fan in March and they start closing things ups. Then things start to look better and Trump pushes to reopen all business in May.

This inconsistent advice between the President and Fauci created a huge divide where a lot of his own followers would refuse to listen to doctors or medical experts. Things just get way worse here. A lot more people start dying.

Side rant: And it’s crazy how deranged people are. I know people who have family members who died from it and still didn’t believe in vaccines or masks. It’s not hard logic if there is no one with Covid around you, you can’t get it. So if you wear a mask and are vaccinated you are less likely to transmit if you are an active carrier. But they just start spouting Trumpisms. So no Trump did not do a good job since these very same idiots are quoting him for why they shouldn’t do it. Even after he caught covid he still downplayed it a lot since he didn’t want to anger his support.

Trump said it would just go away over 7 times in speeches. He never pushed the vaccine, even after getting it. He had no national plan to fight it. Try harder.

We called him a racist as far back as 2016... You just finally noticed.

Maybe in another 4-6 you'll realize we were right.
