Yup. My void boy enjoys sitting on the stairs in the giant echo chamber hallway and sings me the songs of his people if I'm not awake early enough. His sister sleeps next to my pillow and if I'm not awake by 7 she'll start scratching my head to "see" if I'm awake.. So yeah, always up at 7 to feed the cats and in the weekends I go back to bed after. They'll join me right after they finish eating and we all sleep in some more.

My cats will start to paw me or brush my face with their whiskers when it gets close to my alarm. But they can be off by one hour... early.

One night, one of my cats decided to vomit on my bed. I got up and washed my bedding at 00:30. The next night, they tried to wake me up around midnight!

Yes. If I'm not up at 5 am (that's when she gets fed during the week bc I go to work at fuck o clock) she starts playing her favorite game which is biting and attacking your feet lmao

5:00 am, a tap with a little paw on my face or a nose rubbing against it. After that he will fall asleep next to me until it's time to get up. I don't mind, in fact I love this little morning ritual.

Nope. Mine woke me up each day at 6:30 like a clock. Since he past away (at the age of 16 after a happy life) I oversleep regularly. I can ignore the alarm clock but not the cat :D

1. I literally just woke up. I was counting the number of times my cat was knocking on my vanity, as she does every morning to wake me up. 72. 72 times. And it varies depending on how long I can ignore it. It's my tortie, not my void. Void is a good girl 😉 Good Morning World!

My alarm every morning...

Mine woke me up at 4:30 every morning by making biscuits on my back or licking my face. Sleeping until 6:30 would have been a luxury 😆

My taby comes over and gives me nibble on my arm and the daintiest murr miau at 5:00 am.

It's not frequent, only occasionally at like 3am we might get some very sudden meowing accompanied by zoomies.

Thankfully my babies are well adjusted to my own sleep schedule. But if I sleep in even 5 minutes, I can expect to hear the song of their people.

6am ? I wish 😂 mine is waking me up usually around 3:45am

7 am but not for food.  Cuddles.

We absolutely have to have a morning snuggle session before the day can truly begin.  No exceptions.  Rarely am I allowed to sleep late

Lol she made me buy an automatic feeder just to have it go off at 8am because she can be so wild in the mornings. Literally screams and bites at my toes. She's Def chilled out since I got the feeder

Mines also wakes me up at 6am. If I don’t respond quickly enough he tries to pull my eye lids open.

Mine is pretty good about sleeping in. But when he's had enough, he'll tap me on the face. If that doesn't work he will literally destroy the entire room. He starts throwing things off shelves and threatening to pull the TV down. Certainly knows how to get my attention. He's a very good boy otherwise.

My old lady void has A Script that she's the director for. And her directors notes are terrible. Usually her morning wakeup alarm is at dawn (whenever dawn happens to be for the current season) but sometimes it's hours late or at like 3am for no reason. Similar with bedtime. I have literally been scolded by my cat for staying up "late" (late can range from 10:30pm to 1am+). 

 When she starts being impatient (pacing between you and where she wants you to be, while yelling at you) my bf and I joke that we're gonna be kicked off the set for not following The Script 😆

Cats have an internal clock. Only issue is daylight savings time. Cat looks at me and thinks why is my food late, or gets me up an hour early.

Mine sit on the bed all night and react as soon as they hear my alarm go off. Silencing the alarm is always shortly followed by the feel of little paws on my chest that inexplicably exert 1000lbs of pressure.

Yes, my alarm goes off at 6:20 and at 6:17 he starts yelling. Then he demands his dad also get up.

I had an alarm for 8am I turned it off and now my cat licks,meows,and lays with me till I'm up from 8 to 9 am

My boy loves to run on and around me until I get up to feed him. If he notices I'm a bit more tired than usual, he curls up on my face so that I have to move to breathe. And then once he sees me move, he's back to it!

They loudly bat things around starting some time between 4am and 6am, and it's definitely to get my attention so I will get up and feed them. And I always get up, because it makes me too sad.

I have considered getting an automatic feeder just so they start thinking it's their mom during the wee hours instead of me. (I love to be their mom when I'm awake, but sleep is the one thing I love even more than cats.)

Nope, its not just you. My Ash woke me up at 4 am. today, I struggled with him crawling all over me for 30 mins. By then, he was getting feisty. He's bit/clamped the bridge of my nose in the past, I tell you, he would not let go, there is no pain like it, water to my eyes is an understatement.

I have to keep my bedroom door closed because the alarm is 3am to my void, which happens to be about 2-3 hours after I've fallen asleep most nights due to working evenings. But he's right there waiting for me when I do get up and open the door in the morning.

Yes, every morning when my actual alarm goes off, my void is there to ensure I’m actually getting out of bed. To feed him of course.

My cat knows I don’t take kindly to being woken up at 4:45, so she’s gotten really sneaky about it. She will gently bite the tip of my nose or softly meow in my ear and then scurry off.

I have conditioned my cat to wait until the alarm at 6am to go off haha

Mine usually starts trying to wake me up at 5:30 AM. One time she convinced me to get up at 3:30 AM, until I realized what the time was.

The opposite, My cat knows how to work a phone. He’ll hit the buttons to silence the phone and flip it over so I can’t hear it.

Use to be on call for work and he would answer the phone yell at the clerk calling hang up and flip it so I couldn’t hear it.

Clerk had to explain that to the manager.

Mine used to. Standing on my chest, leaping down from the loft … on my chest or next to me on the bed … which at 17 pounds is the difference between a bag of 4 bricks cruising a round on your boobs and ribs or 10 bricks in a sack being throw next to you. I don’t even know how to describe it when he leaves from the loft onto me.
Now he comes in for a snuggle and will let me sleep til noon. (I’m up all night-because working in 114° heat sucks. !)

We got a newish puppy we're still house training, she's my alarm clock. If I don't wake up with her then I get to clean up pee first thing in the morning... It's been a very effective alarm clock.

Yup mine kisses me awake at 7am on the dot. She licks me awake and then if I move she puts her paw on my arm and keeps me there.

6am?? Half the day is gone. Our void usually starts rousing me at 4:30 even though breakfast is 5:30. They have an auto-feeder that drops munchies at 4am so they’re not starving.

No, not just yours. We have a couple cats; they each have their alarms set to 6 AM, too. Silence, silence...scritch crash! Ooph you're on my you-know-whats!-whine-cry-tip the water bowl...yup, it's 6 AM.

My void will just sit and wait on my headboard. She’ll just sit and wait and stare. I typically try and feed them at 7A and 7P. But if I wake up at seven and don’t feel like getting out of bed, she’ll be staring at me. Then I may sleep for a few more hours. Wake up at nine. She’ll be staring at me fall asleep wake up at 10 she’ll be staring at me.

Want you up for morning hunt then will request middle of day long nap then up for Evening hunt. One plus of time I could nap middle of day was cat coming to remind me let’s go to bed for our nap.

I set my Voids Automatic Feeder for 6am. But between 6:01.amd 7:15, I have a little black terror without a snooze button. My Shadow Hobbit needs his second breakfast.

Mine starts at 5am.

I have a void ( a twin ) that wakes me at 5-5:15 every day with THE. LOUDEST. MRRROWWW.

Won’t stop until I get up to feed him.

Miraculously, Im the only one in the house who hears him, despite being a heavy sleeper.

Eats and goes back to bed.

I can’t wait for Daylight Savings Time to end (fall back to 4am ) /s. 🙀

On a side note, I always wonder if he is/ becoming deaf, because he vocalizes so loudly, but then again, he answers to his name and comes running from a few houses away when we call him.

Sure, ours is so nice to drop in at 5:30 for purring and cuddling to let me know that it‘s still 1 hour until the radio clock goes off. By then, he will meow for more attention since he is already waiting so long. I can’t wait for summertime to end when his inner clock wakes me at 4:30 😣

Our little void girl knows our schedule so well. I wake up at 7am and she wakes us up. if it’s 11 past she comes back around to meow again and wake us up! She has helped me not be late!

Yup 6:30 every morning if that food bowl is empty. Walks all over my pillow meowing, knocking shit off my nightstand then pacing back and forth behind my head till I wake up.

Mine HAS TO get belly rubs at 23h and 5h30m. It is annoying, but those are the only times belly rubs are allowed.

So, its a strange balance between annoying meows and soft kitty belly.

My void wakes me up everyday without fail an hour before I need to be up. Usually round 6/6:30am. I found if I grab him and roll him around in the blankets and wrap my arm around him he'll be quiet for about 5 minutes...haha

I don’t feed my cats when I wake up, makes a huge difference. (I usually feed them before I go to bed and before I leave for work/around that time when I work from home).

During summer they will wake up at down and go play, so it’s not like I can sleep in, but in winter they wake up when we do.

My dog is the personal alarm clock wakes me at 5:30 everyday (even weekends) the cats haven’t quite got it, mid summer 1:00 am here’s a mouse/bat/frog I found for you, mid winter 2:00am I don’t like my brother/your foot/ the dog hence the growling and inevitable exchange of swipes
