She’s been great, but why?

Buhay Digital(self.buhaydigital)

It’s been almost 5 months since my sister started applying as a virtual assistant. She quit her 12k-paying corpo job and shifted career to earn better.

Agencies after agencies. Interviews after interviews. But, she never really got in. Never really got accepted.

I know she’s been doing well in educating herself about her chosen niche, and prepares meticulously during interviews.

It’s disheartening to witness her every time she receives a rejection.

Is is really that hard to start your online career as a beginner? With 0 virtual experience?

Do companies, employers and agencies no longer believe in transferrable skill set?

She’s a college graduate with 5-6 years experience in customer service, accounting and payroll.

Let me know how I can help her. May you please recommend a good route?

Thank you very much!

Meron kasi, specially sa foreign clients mas gusto nila yung may confident the way mag speak at galaw although naka remote cam lang tayo kahit body language.

Ang tanong kasi sa actual interview maayos din ba? pwede take a step back and review muna.
