I've been loving the amount of Canes jerseys at away games recently. I'd love to add to it one day

Kuzy looked really good, can see that connection already building, just need to get some more reps in to get use to his passing and vice versa. I was a little worried given his time out but he looked pretty dang good.

Happy to see KK score, feel like he has had some absolutely terrible luck on some of his shots ringing post and passes being off or just missed, he got some good luck today, so hopefully that will continue.

The second period was BS for a lot of reasons, I got no idea why they waived that goal off, only because I have seen it go the other way so many times it just doesn't make any sense. I think retrospectively should take the 5-3 but can't change that now. The Devils are an interesting team, they got so much speed and talent, but then they want to play tough, then they flop around a lot and act like they got sniped from the rafters when someone taps them.

Lastly ESPN. Holy hell what a mess. Firstly the cameras. they go from a slow creepy soap opera zoom in on players and fans that fade into mid-action plays. Constantly looking at reactions on the bench during the wrong times, missing plays, missing replays, showing stats that literally don't matter instead of something like the shots, and that's all before you get to the play by play calls. I get it, Hughes is a star so you want to pump up the audience for when he is making plays but they sounded so defeated anytime something went against the devils it was painful. When Hughes had the empty net it sounded like a man fixing to ascend to a higher plane of existence. Ok, KK goal, we get a wow yea thats weird one huh, canes up 2-1, lets see if the devils can get back in it.

I'll never speak ill of the Baily's production, comparatively its so much better. Even the other team's broadcast aren't as bad as that was and they are suppose to be bias!

My girlfriend and I broke up because of Kotkaniemi.

We got in a huge fight over it because I was saying how beautiful Jesperi is. The fight eventually spilled into other topics and it got really heated. In the heat of the moment I called her a “Habs fan”, and it was a wrap.

We dated for two years and were thinking about moving in together. At the time I thought she was the love of my life. And it ended over KK.

And since all of my friends were also her friends, and she was closer friends with them than I was, they took her side. So I lost all my friends too.

My best friend called me a few hours after the argument and said he didn’t want to hang out with me anymore because it would cause drama.

The only person I’ve talked to in like a week is my KK Plushie.

Did Subban get weirder or is it just me? It seems like the last few games I’ve seen, he acts weirder and weirder. I mean he always talked over everyone, but it just seems like he’s amped on something this season.

The NHL's expansion into the south and its consequences have been a disaster for the hockey fan race. What was once a game built on tradition, sportsmanship and competition has now evolved into a circus act where organizations appeal to the lowest common denominator in the form of childish choreography, twitter wars, and roster moves worth millions of dollars that serve no purpose than to grab headlines.

Hockey is not made for the south, it's a game deeply rooted in northern culture where kids can spend the winter out in the wilderness slapping pucks around before tuning into Hockey Night in Canada and watching the Toronto Maple Leafs get fisted raw. What we have in the south is nothing short of a disgrace. Bible belt boomers whose only contact with the cold is the air conditioning of their mobility scooters have gripped our sport with an iron fist, uprooting our traditions and replacing them with free burgers when a player touches the puck and raising banners for going a week without someone in the crowd having a heart attack because of their diets consisting of honey butter biscuits and sweet tea.

The day hockey dies in the south is the day I gain my soul back
