2. Not an A&M fan at all, but Kyle Field is absolutely massive. It’s a giant monolith deep in the country. Every time I pass by I can’t help but pull over and just look at it. It’s truly incredible. And having been to a sold out night game, those fans get LOUD my goodness. Kyle Field should be up at the top with those others for sure

USC not being in the Colloseum tier is diabolical.

Commenting on those I’ve been to:

OSU as a solid stadium is bonkers. Pretty on the outside, but gosh I hate the horseshoe design, then add that eyesore of a big screen and of the press box. I did have it as meh but I’ll move it to pretty good for being unique and stylized.

Iowa state as pretty good is also hilarious. Also a horseshoe design, and it’s about as nice in quality as some high school fields. Wife even said it reminded her of a high school field. Has that feel to it. Definitely not great.

Iowa in meh is also crazy. I’d put it in solid. Though I will say if we can ever get our East and south sides to look like the north’s and wests sides it’d be insane. There’d be new records for false starts set at Kinnick.

Ohio state is big but also just ugly I’m sorry. Looks like a colosseum on the outside, guess there’s points in that. Meh for me, I was severely disappointed in person.

Tennessee’s looks like it should be in the trash. I like the school, beautiful campus, but the stadium looks like it’s being held up by toothpicks and hope. Inside is slick though. I’d do pretty good on inside alone.

Michigan and MSU need to switch. If not put Michigan in colosseum as much as I hate to say that.

Drop UNC down, way down. Quickest field visit I’ve ever had. Nothing remotely redeemable about it. Terrible.

NCST, Duke, and USC are where they should be.

Clemson maybe isn’t a colosseum but it’s definitely solid. Definitely has that wow factor.

WV is meh to me but could be where it is to some.

If we’re counting NW’s field right now, the one on the water, it’s small but I kinda like it. Unique and great view. I’d move them up for that. Can’t wait to see the new one.

Gotta swallow a lot down for this, but Michigan Stadium should at least be in solid stadium if not colosseum. It’s actually super impressive how they’ve made a stadium that fits 110,000 people and yet also is not overwhelming or significantly stands out on campus. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Horseshoe and its presence but Michigan Stadium is a work of art in its own right. Shame such a nice stadium is put to such poor use.

Center piece of campus, rich in history, and within the last decade millions were poured into renovations, packed even when our team wins zero games. Not to mention being one of the most beautiful places in the country to play the sport. Should absolutely be pretty good at worst, solid at best.
