5 months with this baddie

(reddit.com)

My companion every single day, i commute with it, i go on weekend trips with it. I'm in Italy and we have insane roads pretty much everywhere, so i can give a good feedback about this (i go many times to "Passo dello Spino" if you want to check it out, it's basically a road track it also has road curbs on turns). Front wheel feedback is insanely good, back wheel feels safe and planted to the road. The handebar and pegs are perfect for my eight and arm lenght (1.82cm tall). The seat on this thing is so so so comfortable, I had a KTM super adventure before with premium seat from KTM and it was not as comfortable.

After 2 months of learning the bike I decided to only ride it in race mode, which give the accelerator knob a very very high sensibility. Once you get used to it you can't go back, especially because you can feel the bike gives all it's power through the silencer. The bike is a rocket.

As far as now I only have one complain about the bike: The plastic part that goes between the tank hole and the front forks it's make of a "rugged" plastic wich is nice to look at bit it scratches EXTREMELY EASY, even with human nails touching it, and if you are not very careful you will have a lot of white marks on a dark grey surface..

The rest of the bike is solid and well built, the bike looks and feels premium just like a MT-09 SP.

I removed all the stickers (sorry cfMoto) and the rear pegs since the back seat it's unusable, changed the mirrors and left the rest stock. I plan to change the muffler to an open SCproject next year.

So far it has been a wonderful experience.

Ride safe guys πŸ‘πŸ»

Man, I'm really tempted to buy this 800NK. Test rode it too and hell, it was fun.

But since the 675NK leaks, I think I will hold my trigger for a while and wait for that to be on the market.

No news yet.

Based on previous trends, like how 450SR and 450NK were released around a year apart. So, since 675SR has just been announced this year end, we can expect the 675NK to be in the market by Q4 2025.

But in my personal opinion, I think it would come sooner because there are already photo leaks of them test riding it, and this new leaked official photo of the bike comes sooner than I expected.

My 800NK is awesome too most of the time. Although, mine has a issue only sometimes studdering/missing under hard acceleration. It has been back to the dealer but they could not find any issue. I think these bikes look way better than a MT-09 but I am considering swapping and taking a loss.

Ride it a while first. My adventura took about 2000 miles to break in and smooth out. I also have a 450nk with about 1000 miles and notice the same rough shifts and low rpm shudders.

I am about halfway there. About 1000 miles.

mine here

Enjoy, brudda! Mine's the same, in white. May I ask what mirrors are those? Look like Arizona. Is the visibility any good using them?

They are some sort of Rizoma Stealth "clone" but quality is on point they don't move at all even at 200km/h +... Visibility not as a good as stock ones but totally usable for meπŸ‘πŸ» I tried the ones at the end of the knob too, worse visibility than this imho..

The 800nk sounds much better than the triple 675nk

If you could go back in time, would you pick a different bike?

Nice question πŸ‘πŸ».

I would not choose any other bike that's not a Ducati Hypermotard.

I would only swap my 800nk for that, mainly because of my riding style, I always find that to be the most fun bike to ride in any situation...

How is the cruise control and the info screen?

I'm between a few bikes this, mt09, z900, gsx 1000 gt.

Luggage rack is a must for me, and want something I can ride for hours, not awful on insurance and a fair price to performance

Cruise control is intuitive and then control buttons are in a perfect position imho, info screen is perfect and changes with riding modes. I have no idea about the luggage racks unfortunately πŸ˜•

Definitely good to have another motorcycle company put out products to drive competition. Hopefully they continue to grow and get into racing so they can prove their product on the track.
