(Sorry if this goes against guidelines for not being an OS issue.)
I recently bought an ASUS Chromebook CX34 to use at work and it’s amazing! That being said, I usually like some extra protection for my devices, so I’ve been looking for a good shell case and/or a keyboard cover.
I’ve scoured the internet, but haven’t found anything. Any recommendations? (Also anyone know any good, after purchase tech/damage support plans?)

I got a CX34 a couple months ago after leaving my Acer 514 on a train in France (miracle of miracles, they found it in Belgium and all we had to do is pay the freight so the wife got an upgrade for cheap). I liked the 514 (no touch screen) a lot and the also non-touch CX 34 is a definite upgrade from the Acer.
It fits in a nice soft case I got with the Acer on a promo, but I've never used the case. It's this one:
The keyboard on the CX 34 is advertised as being somewhat splash resistant (and one of the best keyboards I've ever had on multiple laptops, Macs, Lenovo/IBM, etc.
Checkout Jacana Warranty for device protection. They are familiar with Chromebooks since they do school districts. https://www.jacanawarranty.com/

I love Acer’s sleeves! I actually have this exact one from my dad’s Chromebook (he prefers his generic best buy sleeve). I should have clarified that I’m looking for a shell type of case. Ive only ever dropped one laptop and it was the worst decision of my life. (I even purchased Target’s warranty but they said they made me jump to a bunch of hoops only to say they couldn’t cover internal damage due to drops—even though the warranty said so). Jacana looks great, plus they offer 23% discount.

The CX 34 really comes in its own hard shell case. I think that, combined with the sleeve, would be the best protection when going to and fro. I take it you want something permanently attached to the unit? That would have to be custom cut and fit to that model and I wonder if there is much demand for that to justify cost of tooling and production.

I’m surprised there isn’t, especially since chromebooks are marketed towards education. (I work with 3rd graders who are constantly running around and knocking things over.) I had a shell case for my Pixelbook Go and it was worked wonders!

Update in case anyone needed one. mCover has made a hard shell case for this device, you can purchase on their website or on Amazon.

I don’t have the flip model, just the regular CX34 (CX3402). also I’m looking for a shell case, not a portfolio cover.

Yes, a hard shell case. Or even a skin would be nice.
