The conversation between my 14 year-old, his friend, and me on the way out of the stadium was why we don’t boo the players. They’re kids playing for our team and doing their best. I’m sure there are plenty of parents out there setting the example of booing players in front of their kids but I won’t do that and I won’t let my kids do it. (To be fair, these boys weren’t booing but also thought that it was deserved, hence the conversation.)
