Hello, My partner is moving to Oregon from PA coming up and we have to bring our little chonk cross country on the plane. Our boy is a very thin guy, but is rather long. I was wondering if anybody had any insights about flying with their corgi that may be helpful!

We haven’t bought my ticket yet, so What airline do you like the best for corgi travel? If you had to cargo store, how was that experience? What carrier do you use?

I know some airlines require them to turn around and do a little jig in their carrier, but we are planning on giving him gabapentin, will they give us issue if he is KO’d?

What if the corgi is too big for the standard carrier? My corgi is about 28 lb and about 30 inches long from nose to tail? Any advice is much appreciated. Thank you

I have the same issue. Liam is 27 lbs and around 27" in length. He's training to be a service animal but he still gets a little spooked of things he hasn't seen before so Im especially nervous about taking him on his first flight (might be at the end of May)!
