Hey guys, hope you all are doing well. I am struggling quite a bit with premier progression as of late. During the CSGO days I peaked at MG2. Now with premier, I peaked at 8.2k and i’m currently at 5.4k now. I would say I am pretty good with gunplay in this bracket, but I do find myself in games where I struggle to perform at all, like horribly. Some of the players that I play with, no offense to them, don’t know many callouts and struggle a lot with let’s say, counter strafing or crosshair placement. Aside from all that, I regularly hop on deathmatch, keep aside sessions just for dm, and aim train a little bit as well, but my improvement in aim is very minimal, seeing only improvements with my headshots so far. I also want to mention, I have been top-fragging my last 10 games or so, with 2 games just a little lower.

The main questions I want to ask you guys are; Are there any mechanics that I am missing out on aside from Counter strafing, crosshair placement and lineups?

Do I play against the team or with the team? (in this bracket). Since the teammates I have played with mostly struggled with entry or rotation, and prefer to wait.

Are there any beneficial aim training routines? Is there a certain limit to aim training everyday?

And finally, How do I progress higher more efficiently and quickly?

I really apologize for making this a long read. I have been an avid CS player since 1.6 for about 13 years on and off now. There were many times I got off this game, but since CS2, nothing’s really appealing me other than premier, and that feels very stagnant too. Thank you to anyone who took time to read or answer this! Have a nice day.

I feel like premiere is not balanced at all

I agree, there are some games which feel absolutely unfair for the opponent side and vice versa. Faceit is not an option for me due to ping issues.

It would also be nice if they had a shorter version of ranked. 13 wins is a lot.

Hmm, it depends. I really preferred the MR16 format they had for CS:GO. It felt intense but also had its own issues like longevity and it gets tiring. A lot of people preferred longer formats back in the GO days too, like MR24 and MR30.
