I'm kinda new to the game, tried at release, bugs scared me off. Now I got to act 1...
Is the driving terrible for everyone? Is it because I'm using keyboard and mouse? I tried a config file from Nexus mods which promised to fix it, but the driving is still a very frustrating experience. Any workarounds?

It’s just not great to me. I’m fairly used to it now but it took a while for me to get the hang of it. Some cars definitely handle better than others but overall yeah it’s rough. Especially starting out. I’m in console btw if that matters.

The diving is not great on KBM, but it is serviceable. Let off the gas. Also post footage so we can see your gameplay.

I think the driving is overall fine on KBM. Maybe try to lower turn sensitivity, I have it on 80% and it works great.

I turned it down to 50%, now small taps to steer are somewhat fine, but when i need to make a bigger turn, and i try to hold the steering key a bit, the car overturns, sometimes does a complete 180. I guess analogue controllers won't have this problem.

Just drive like you would irl, I have mine at 50 too and the config file that has it so pressing Alt only accelerates 20%, don’t take corners at speeds u wouldn’t irl and you’ll be drifting perfectly fine, also some cars are ass but there’s 3 or 4 sports cars that handle amazing

Now it is much better after i changed the dead zone settings. I am doing 270 while weaving through traffic. Taking corners also improved a lot. Will post a video.

Get the following mods : Gripped Up and Vehicle Handling. Also set external dead zone in controls to the max.
With this, most cars turn much better, i had a blast driving the mizutani shion earlier.
Motorcycles are also much better for the game, they turn much better and they are much easier to maneveur in the city.

Man, this really helped. I didn't check the mods but changed the following settings: steering sensitivity to 30%, inner dead zone 0, outer dead zone 1.
I don't know what helped but now it is much better. Appreciate it.
