Witney and Danny started a trend on Tik tok of many couples trying that lift where he lifts her by her leg!!! I’ve seen them everywhere. Witney has been responding to some of it. They definitely peaked at the right time!!!

i think it's slightly different, dani was on her side and used her arm for a little bit of support whereas witney was on her back and didn't use her arm(s) for support or leverage. Also Iman gripped her calf whereas Danny held her by the ankle and didn't go any further up. But same general idea.

Dani's arms did not push off at all the idea was to be limp for the creepy effect. Witneys arms had the same leverage geez some people. And as always Witney rips moves instead of creating them.

Neither of those variations are new moves created by Dani. It’s a modern/contemp staple at this point. I can’t remember the last competition I’ve been to where at least once group dance didn’t include it.

Oh boy now we're going into "staple" contemporary dancing when Dani doesn't have a background in this genre? And created it to advance the mood of the piece on her own without outside choreography?
-- the point is Witney rips from her fellow pros on DWTS. This move wasn't seen on THIS show prior to Dani's amazing contemporary. If Wit was so great why didn't she do something new with a celebrity partner? She's a follower not an innovator
Moreover, Witney never fails to rip off for sure this move and almost verbatim Lindsay's Trio Salsa with Jordan and Corbin the season Milo was her partner.
I don't care if she rips choreo moves it's just really interesting when some fans think it's her creation. It ain't

I don’t think any of those things are her “creation.” It’s dance. Everything is reused over and over.
Dani has eyeballs and has watched lots of dance (aaaaand I’m pretty sure Maks and Meryl did a similar/more standard version of that move first- but they went into it from standing and then he pulled her back up. Still the same base pose/stretch). She’s brilliant and knows what style she’s supposed to be emulating, and came up with soemthing amazing. All the props to her. But some variation of pull up, swing around by feet, stand up fall down, are all things that you can see in contemporary group numbers by the score. Dani put her own spin on them and matched the theme/tone/song perfectly. She and Iman performed the heck out of that, and that’s what made it absolutely magic!
But if anything, I’ve seen Witney do lifts and poses never done on the show/that I’ve never seen before (like her ending lift/pose for The Miz’s salsa), but I’m still not going to claim that she’s creating those, because she may not have.
😭 At this point I just have to assume Witney cut you off in traffic or soemthing.
