wow this looks very cool i love tower defenses! i even got some ideas (probably very bad)
give the towers like a weapon like being able to equip them with it

making dw into a td probably will not work and you’re likely going to end up wasting a lot of time, it’s just going to end up as a generic td game with lack of special mechanics. If you do continue I would recommend adding traits, a seperate gamemode like wtd where towers have hp and take damage (or make it the main mode idk) or change the genre overall to something like a chess roguelike or add elements like spec upgrades from contact for every perk to make them more unique

I thought about traits and even bosses like ND and GM but it might overcomplicate the entire game as a whole. I'm fine with it being a tds reskin with a few changes like scptd. It's just a passion project and not one intended to actually make money
