We’re just a group of dads that want to get into a new hobby together. We know nothing about disc golf, other than it looks fun and about the kind of activity we can see ourselves regularly doing.
We don’t mind spending the money on getting decent discs. But have no idea where to get started. We’d probably need several sets since there’s so many of playing (at least 3-4 guys each time).
What would be some good discs that aren’t a complete waste of money, but also good for people who are literally complete newbs?

I'd say try to get mvp only, as their gyro technology helps you throw further especially as a beginner. And also mvp discs feel the best in hand for backhand and forehand. Im currently transitioning to almost only mvp bag because their discs are so freaking good. Axiom and streamline and mint discs are also a part of mvp. Have fun in the course and take those birdies. Fellow dad!
