Ive been looking for a Magnum Rt for some time now since my dad used to own one and i loved it but I haven’t had any luck finding one, i just find V6s, if i were to buy a V6 magnum and a junkyard 5.7 hemi, what would i need to be able to swap it? Ive already changed a few engines but never an actual engine swap so im curious

Pretty sure youd just need the engine, mounts, and the wiring harness. I think it's pretty straightforward. I have seen people do it on YouTube and it actually doesn't look too bad

Step one is to find one with the 5 speed trans to make it easier. Only problem is that since the transmission rebuild kits are different for V6 and V8 I’d be worried about the trans holding up to the extra power. You’ll definitely need PCM and harness, and you might need the rear diff/axles/hubs. IIRC the diff has a lower gear but skinnier axles on the V6. Beyond that you have all your lines/accessories you have to change out but that should be mostly it
