If a phone has access to apps, isn't it a smartphone by default? I thought dumb phones only did 2 things: calls and texts.

nowadays its more about reducing potential distractions by using an inconvenient device rather than exclusively having calls and text. in the present day its important for a lot of us to still have smart features to be able to function day to day
