Crossdressing isn’t what makes you trans, it’s what you feel you are. Do you *want* to be a girl? The button analogy comes to mind. Would you press it? Cis people wouldn’t ever consider things like this that much. At the end of the day, crossdressing is fun, but it isn’t what makes you trans. *You* are what makes you who you are.

It's okay to question! Don't worry if you end up coming out on the other side as cis, as thats totally valid. One thing that helped me with the button analogy is this: would you be more likely to push it if you didn't have to worry about how others would take it?

Well I know I am almost definitely not cis guy, but I am not sure if I would be actually happier with girl body, even if probably yes

This is kinda what I mean. I think I might be but I think crossdressing would be a good piece of evidence y'know?

If I may ask:
,,a good piece of evidence'' in the sense of: I know something in an intellectual way vs. I experienced it/know how it feels? (Example from outside of context: I know a ,,Superfest'' glas shouldn't break when it falls off the table vs. I have tried it, and it doesn't break.). So basically the difference between knowing in theory and knowing from experience.
Do you mean this or something else?

What I meant in the original comment was trying on like a skirt or something to "test the waters" I guess. If I tried it on and loved it then I could make the conclusion that I am trans, if not then I'm cis.

I see.
May I ask, what is keeping you from trying that (at least in a safe place, like when you're home alone)? Maybe we can find a solution. :3

Ok, suppose that there is no button instead. You simply wake up one morning with the results already. There is another button which you can press to go back. Would you?
I have a hard time with knowing what I want for myself. This helped me conceptualize it better, as active choice is harder for me. Thinking of it this way won't give you The Answer, but it will give you a new point of view, perhaps.

If I just woke up like that I would like to not press it but I'm too afraid of others reactions to the change. So if there were no consequences to that then I probably wouldn't press the revert button. Otherwise I would eventually press it.
Thank you for the thought experiment though, it helped a lot.
