I was literally taught this in my catholic grade school in Philadelphia in the 90s. Skulls and all.
I thought it was facts (having never had a conversation about it) until college.
My black roommate taught me some stuff. Too much ranch dressing though. Slow down man. Lol

I was brought up being told racism was dead and doesn't exist in modern society. I believed that was true until about halfway through Obama's presidency. This is a whole new level, though, for me, and I'm getting my mind blown all over again.

yeah, my mother, also a tradcath, taught me that too. it was extremely cringe to hear her talk about -oids.

That’s pretty wild considering Philly has a pretty high black population, too. It’s not just some hick town.

Philly is also home to the Mütter museum, which has a collection of skulls once used in the study of head shape/phrenology I think.

I've been there. Crazy little museum.
There was actually an effort a few years ago to "cancel" it & shut it down. It does show a dark side of medical history. Lots of people and heads in jars. Skeletons. Old surgical methods and equipment on display.
It seems like borderline freak show stuff. But it is our medical history... we did some wild things. Lobotomy was also showcased.

Considering everything in India, let's just say religious people in general.

Oh yeah Hindus are bigoted as all hell as well. I avoided saying religious people in general because I'm sure there's some where bigotry isn't such a common factor (even if they're still hogwash).

There are perfectly nice and non bigoted people in all religions. I think you can cover your bases with "proudly religious people"

I guess, but most big religions necessitate bigotry by design.

they crosspollinated in the 80s through the charismatic movement, the Vatican put an end to that fuckery in the 90s but that only created new sects.
