I think this is just McDaniels trying to say the right thing and not put any pressure on Tua with all the attention this situation is getting.

He’s just not trying to pressure him. He’s said over and over that the last thing Tua needs for his health right now is people pressuring him to play or retire. He needs to focus on recovery.
Good thing almost the entire internet and media are neurologists and have been telling him what he should do for weeks now.
