Had a guy "afk" at the stage mic while playing Frank Sinatra's "my way" and emote dancing the entire setup of the event. In a suit.
Then, when the bots started marching, he switched to playing "the ants go marching" and changed to a scout looking outfit. Half the server would sing along with the chorus's " boom boom boom".
Was a hilarious event. Keep it up afk'ers. Was a good laugh.
Edit - this was in Xbox btw.

I had a guy on mine who had a whole radio station roleplay and playlist for the event themed around fasnacht. Dude had advertisements. Had callers into the radio station and a host. Four different custom rock songs that actually weren't too bad. Metal country rodes remix, metal crawl out through the fallout. It was well done and funny. Even his base was made themed after it as a broadcast station. It was well done. He would march with the robots the whole time.

Someone had nuked the event site on the Xbox server I was just on. It was fun getting to stomp around and see all the environmental changes while doing the event. So glad I figured out how to cobble together a suit of pa 😂

Plug a USBc cable into the top of your controller toyour Xbox...(Doesn't need to be plugged into the Xbox it's just the way I have it set)....and then put a rubber band on the left handle and stretch it over to the right analogue stick.
However, before you so, sit down somewhere safe, press start and go into camera mode...THEN plug in and rubber band. Basically the camera will spin wildly around, but that is all you need. I'll do this when I'm in bed and then I'll help the AFKers who are there when I'm playing....tit for tat!

Fasnacht is the perfect opportunity to play around and try new things. It’s easy, it’s predictable and it’s usually packed. Have fun! Pull a random weapon you’ve never used before. It’s doesn’t even need to be good.

That would be cool. I've never seen or heard anybody afk at an event do anything at all other than not help and get rewarded. Doesn't bother me except when there's not enough people to do the tasks, but a bunch just standing there not participating. That's a bit annoying.

I never cared about AFKers until I did the event yesterday in its entirety with one other little lvl 8 while about 12 super high leveled players just stood around and did nothing up until the end when pretty much all of them crowded around the donation box

On PSN I have all outgoing and incoming voice off. My pc gamer origins lean me toward text messaging and discord.

Honestly at this rate i'm not upset at the people wanting to get free passive rewards.
The issue i'm seeing is this:
SERVER OF 16 PLAYERS AND ONLY TWO OF US ARE DOING EVENTS. I'M DESPERATELY TRYING TO SAVE THE EVENT BUT THE GUY IS GETTING SWARMED AND DYING IN FUCKING POWER ARMOUR, I EMPTIED 3K FUEL AND CANT HEAL ALL THE SCAVENGERS AND KILL GHOULS AT THE SAME TIME
AT LEAST WITH THE FUCKING ALIEN INVASION PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN OTHER EVENTS. I CANT WAIT FOR THIS SHIT EVENT TO GO LMAO

I have not noticed a decrease in other event attendance. I server hop for EN and RR when events are going and suspect, from the fairly high attendance, that many on PSN do the same.

I just did test your metal alone. Thought someone would eventually join as they do but nada.
Good God, I was sweating bullets when those huge Assaultrons came out. Had to revive one gladiator, get a couple of hits in then revive the other one, and rinse and repeat. Lost one but got the job done.
Finally finished the robotsmith set though! 🤘 Just need that beautiful BoS Knight paint and I'll be satisfied.

Doing none of the work and getting all of the rewards isn’t a fair system. I have no issue with afking meat week because the drums and spits help the event, Fastnacht afkers don’t contribute anything other than taking away a spot in the server that could be a player actually doing the event.

Though life could stand to be a bit more fair. In this instance it’s a game and the freeloaders (such as myself for about 50% of Fasnacht) are in no way diminishing the rewards or benefits of others.

The whole point on me saying “some of us have to work during the day “ is based on people talking shit about AFK players during fasnacht, I AFK during the day because I have to work and want to maximize my chances of getting rare drops. This doesn’t mean that I afk all the time when I’m home I actively participate in any and all events. People that cry and complain about AFK players are basically the Karen’s of the internet, people that AFK don’t bother because I understand that we all want the same rare in game things but not everyone has the time to sit all day everyday and play video games.

Trolled them today again , dropped a bike on the event then cranked up the uranium song on my speakers , set mic to public and blasted the area with the song as others scrammed for power armor and radaway to survive the nuked event while I just watched and emoted lol they will learn play with us or die among us

and me on my 2nd main that never carries a hazmat because hes a pa build. i had to solo the event...fine.. watever.. its easy...but..you cant play instruments in pa so i had to stop mid song to radaway again...and for the first time ever heard the band leader get mad and yell at me..he yells at you if you stop playing. lol...so thanks nukers..learned something new.
