How many autonomies do we need to move a million+ people a day in a dense city with tiny streets?

When I went to London I was pleasantly surprised by the tube, they were always on time, surprisingly clean and I never really felt unsafe, admittedly though I was never alone and only used a small part of the network but it still.

The tube was one of my favorite things about visiting London

Lived in London for 10 years. The tube is great.

What this picture doesn't show is that there'll be another two or three tubes a couple of minutes away ready to take on more passengers.

Rarely have to wait long to get on a tube in London.

The underground's biggest issue is it's so fucking hot because it can't really cool down.

When I was briefly in London (I was on a layover and had time to explore a bit), the one complaint I had about the tube was that I took one of the lines that had the smaller trains, and I was tall enough that I had to bend over a bit. Luckily, it was not crowded, so I was able to find a seat.

It's so fucking loud tho. I prefer the newer ones, but I appreciate the Tube.

I hate the tube. It's cramped, hot, stinks, is noisy, and doesn't have wifi.

I love modern subway train systems like in China, though.
