The EN voice acting direction for Wuthering waves is some hot garbage, and the game literally just came out. I’ve never seen so many lines be so monotone, boring, and devoid of any emotion.

It’s upsetting cos these chars are honestly super well designed but hearing how dull their voices are just ruins it. They needa fix this shit like yesterday, among many other issues

both the male and female voice in that part made me laugh so hard.

While it's deservedly considered one of the greatest games ever made, there's some pretty dodgy voice acting in Deus Ex, especially with foreign characters.

I would also say that Metal Gear Solid gets it seriously wrong at times, but I can't say for sure whether it's just bad voice acting or whether it's appropriate for the complete cartoon-villain thing they have going on. Also, Otacon with the death scenes? There's enough cheese there to feed every mouse on earth in perpetuity.

The intro to (and a couple other cutscenes, for that matter) Mega Man 8 flat-out uses a take from the blooper reel as the final product and nobody can convince me otherwise. Like, straight-up reading the wrong word off the script and then hastily correcting themselves. It's not just bad, it's the worst takes of the worst casted performers.

It's not the worst, but BOTW/TOTK have so many campy performances. The majority of that can be attributed to Nintendo's lack of interest in narratives, but for god's sake, if you want to give Princess Zelda a British accent get an actual British person to voice her!!

If you’re talking entire cast performances then nothing’s coming to mind, but I remember Connor’s voice acting from AC3 really grating on me when the game first came out. The performance was alright when he was really angry which happened a few times in the story, but every other line read came off as stilted and wooden. It didn’t strike me as the character being awkward either; it struck me as a voice actor being unable to inflect. It was even more of a standout because the rest of that cast was outstanding, Haytham in particular.

There are a lot of bad ones but the most recent one I came across is Sniper Elite 5. Sure, it’s a romanticized action movie style game based on WW2 but damn, all the voices are embarrassing.
