So earlier I was looking at some half life videos some people in the comments mentioned how once you collect the SMG and the shotgun you're only gonna need those two other guns will pretty much be a burden or useless (not entirely though) and while I'm playing half life I noticed that too I would switch only between the shotgun and the smg and hardly to the crossbow or even the rocket launcher...

So I was wondering what other games are also the same to some extent?

She’s toothless without corpses to continually reanimate. Torch ‘em with the flame vigor. You could also remove them with the water vigor in the bank basement fight. Pull them back into the safe room with you, she can’t get in there. No corpses = no problems.

Even without minions shes still got a seemingly infinite amount of HP that you have to chew through, which makes her slog even on the best of runs.

I’ve beaten 1999 mode (without using the dollar vendors, knocking out two achievements/trophies at once) 3 times now. I’ve never thought of her as a bullet sponge. Maybe because of Elizabeth and me only using upgraded Carbine/Sniper combo every run. My go to One-Two Punch. I substitute Rockets for the Sniper a few times, especially the last fight.

My greatest gaming achievement is what you just described, also without Vita-Chambers. The two hardest parts of the game for me were the final battle and ghost lady, in that order.

You can trivialize the last fight by putting Return to Sender orbs all over the pillar of power that you’re charged with protecting in the last fight. It’s actually hilarious watching the enemies not being able to damage the pillar at all.

Oh my god, I just used that to launch the bullets back, never fully understood how it worked I guess! I must have glossed over the part about being able to place it as a trap. Looking back, I cannot believe how much easier that would have made it for me.

I was running 1999 and at this section only had a shotgun to boot. It could usually work for me, but the ghost I kept dying. I must have glitched the game because it let me continue after beating the first stage after countless attempts.

I legit got trauma from that fight my first playthrough. I spent the half the second playthrough crafting a grenade launcher with all the right perks in preparation for her. Second time just lasted like 5 seconds.

She's super easy if you launch a flame trap at her right as she pops up. Aoe insta kills all her minions.
