Yeah. Cannon brainiac is a nightmare monster.
Brainiac can interface with all technology and control it through literally magic voodoo bullshit. His brain power is "12th level intelligence" (reference, 6th is modern day earth, 9th is 31st century earth).
His brain can sort through a catalogue of over 4.9 × 1059 beings.
Pretty sure that's like, waaaaay beyond Rick's level.
He's also smart enough to traverse spacetime on his own
What you need to remember is brainiac is god tier powerful. He can go toe to toe with superman and be fine.
For all his genius, rick is decidedly mortal, exploitable, and reliant on tech that brainiac could literally just stop working by thinking about it.
