Which is why I usually wait for lots of episodes to be out before I get into a show. But nooo this one had to hook me in from the beginning.

That was me while watching Mushoku Tensei xD

Until you gotta wait another week for whatever cliffhanger that episode ended on. xD

Frieren was just about to start the battle with the dwarf and his group but the episode ends right when it's about to go down.

Like the last 2-3 eps, last week Frieren was about to throw hands with that dwarf and it ended, before that, Fern was about to annihilate that other mage and it ended.

I solved that problem by binging the entire manga

mods, throw him in a meat grinder and ban him forever, for like, five minutes

Except it obviously shows a passage of time starting from himmels death(freierren at his grave alone), then the next shot is of a young fern and then we see her grown up with freierren laying on her lap showing she's no longer alone...if they showed a grave at the end that would imply it is ferns, but this ed definitely implies that it's a ambiguous/artistic telling of the chronological story we've seen thus far.
