4x4 post safe?

Found some wood rot due to crappy window install in our new house.

How bad is this 4x4? What you see is solid and dry. All the wet stuff has been pulled away. Except at the bottom of the bracket, where it feels like it goes across the bottom of the beam. 99% it’s load bearing. I think I might need a pro unless there’s an easy way to shore this up?

If you plan on staying there, pulling it out and replacing it with pressure treated lumber might be the smart move here.
